Mud season in full-effect in upstate New York

We’re technically in the early stages of spring, but we’re really in the middle of mud season in upstate New York.

As a result of melting snow and rainfall, the DEC has closed off a few trails and access roads on Forest Preserve, State Forest and Conservation Easment Lands throughout the Adirondacks.

The DEC says riding on those types of trails right now could cause that would need to be repaired.
