It was over a year ago when a judge found Oral “Nick” Hillary not guilty in the murder of 12-year-old Garrett Phillips.
Hillary stood trial, accused of strangling the boy to death in his mother’s Potsdam apartment. After the decision, the case was figured to be cold, but the new St. Lawrence County District Attorney has other ideas.
Pasqua told 7 News, “I don’t think I’d be doing my job if I didn’t review that file.” Pasqua recently replaced Mary Rain as DA after Rain did not seek re-election. Previously, Rain campaigned on bringing justice for Garrett and she was the lead in having charges brought against Hillary.
