New York State Trooper crashed vehicle

A New York State trooper is recovering at a Syracuse hospital after crashing his vehicle in the Town of Wilna Wednesday night.

Police sat 28 year old Trooper Craig Davis was responding to a road rage incident on Rt. 3 at around 10 pm when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road.

The trooper’s vehicle struck an earth embankment and overturned.

He was later taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
