GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – A teen was sent to the hospital with a stab wound following one of several fights at the New York State Fair on Sunday.
State Police say around 9:30 p.m., a 17-year-old was transported to Upstate with a stab wound in his chest.
He is currently listed in stable condition.
Police are still investigating the stabbing. No arrests have been made yet and Troopers say the victim is not being cooperative.
Just before 10 p.m., State Police also responded to a call regarding two women who fell through a glass area at a food stand during a fight.
A 20-year-old woman was treated at Upstate and released.
Before the A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie concert at Chevy Court, 30 teens stood on the roof of a restroom building at the rear of Chevy Court.
After the concert, State Police had to break up multiple fights near Chevy Court and the Midway.
“Everybody from Mick Jagger to Paul McCartney has had issues with their shows at some point in their lives and we’re diversifying the entertainment on Chevy Court to draw a different audience, draw younger people, and some of that is hip hop, some of that is new country, some of its classic rock,” said Troy Waffner, Acting NYS Fair Director.
Three individuals were arrested for resisting arrest and other violations.
