Paperwork has been filed to suppress DNA evidence in the upcoming murder trial for Oral “Nick” Hillary.

It was Hillary’s defense team that filed the motion, arguing that the DNA collected from the body of 12-year-old Garrett Phillips has no actual connection to their client.

The attorney claims that the DNA is inconclusive and that the methods used to collect it are questionable.

Hillary has been charged with strangling Phillips to death at an apartment in Potsdam back in 2011.

The trial is slated to begin in September.
