Police take over 90 more animals from Watertown farm

A Week after authorities took over 50 animals from a farm in Watertown, they were back again on scene Tuesday.

According to state police, about 90 more animals, including dozens of horses, were all confiscated from the Sandy Creek Valley Road property.

Police say, since they raided the farm last week, owners Leroy Burnham and JoAnne Armstrong continued to neglect the remaining animals.

Burnham and Armstrong were initially charged with 68 counts each of animal cruelty. They both are now likely to face more charges.
