Shocking case of alleged child abuse in Oswego County

A shocking case of child abuse out of of Oswego County, as sheriff’s deputies there say a 10-year-old girl in Albion told a neighbor she was being abused physically.


The little girl claims, among several accusations, that she had been repeatedly hit, forced to run with weighted backpacks in front of a slow-moving vehicle, and, when allowed to eat, had meals covered with hot sauce.

A three-year-old girl in the same residence also allegedly had her hand burned after being forced to put it in hot water.

Thirty-seven-year-old Gary Bubis Jr., 34-year-old Lesliann Raider and 18-year-old Brandy Shaver all live in the same residence and all three are now facing charges of assault, with more charges coming.

The three were taken to jail and each held on $25,000 bail, while the children were removed from the home and taken into care.
