SLC Arts is proud to be a Distribution Center for the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization program. Though this regrant program, SLC Arts distributes over $60,000 annually to local artists, arts organizations, municipalities, libraries, and 501(c)3 non-profits, in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties, for the purpose of funding community arts projects. As the summer winds down, the application deadline for these grants is quickly approaching. It is September 15th.

Though grant workshop schedule is completed for the season, the Arts Council’s Grant Coordinator, Alicia Murphy, is available to answer any questions that applicants may have during the application process. If you are a first-time applicant, or have missed the workshops, please contact her.

These funding opportunities are made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew M Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by SLC Arts. For more information about grant opportunities, and to view online applications and guidelines, please visit www.slcartscouncil.org/grants, or contact Alicia Murphy, Regrants & Community Engagement Coordinator, at grants@slcartscouncil.org.
