The first lake-effect blast of the season hit parts of the area both Sunday and Monday.

While the Watertown area was mostly spared, other parts of the region saw some accumulation.

In fact, Lorraine in southern Jefferson County picked up just over 8.5 inches of snow. In Lewis County, North Osceola reportedly had 10 inches fall in about 24 hours.

And while the entire area will eventually get a lot more snow, none of that will be anytime soon as temps today get back close to 50 degrees for a high.
