Syracuse’s school board is taking a stand against new Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.

Yesterday, the board passed a resolution against DeVos due to criticisms of her lack of knowledge and support of public schools. The board also tackled Trump’s immigration policies.

They say they will protect all students who must be treated the same regardless of immigration status, race or religion.
