Tentative trial date set for Ryan Lawrence

September 19, 2016 is the tentative trial date set for the man accused of abducting his own daughter, killing her, and dumping her body in Onondaga Creek.

Ryan Lawrence was in Onondaga County Court Monday morning for a pre-trial conference before judge Anthony Aloi.

Lawrence is charged with first-degree murder in connection with death of his 21-month-old daughter Maddox Lawrence.

The body of Maddox Lawrence, was found lying in the water near the Inner Harbor.
An Amber Alert was issued the morning after Ryan and Maddox Lawrence disappeared from their Valley neighborhood home on Saturday, Feb. 20.
Ryan Lawrence was picked up by police Monday evening in the village of Baldwinsville.
The District Attorney’s office believes the child was murdered in Labrador Hollow in Tully, which straddles southern Onondaga and northern Cortland counties.
The child’s mother, Morgan Lawrence, contact police after she found their family car in the Destiny USA parking lot and drove home – where she discovered a message from Ryan.
The contents of the message alarmed police when they responded to the home.
