There will be no changes to the schedule at Flower Memorial Library. Council members decided to reverse course and keep Thursday night and Sunday hours for the library in Watertown.

Initially, the proposed budget called for a reduction in hours and subsequently the elimination of one part-time position.

Council also agreed to use $24,000 in fund balance for Flower Memorial to repair stained glass chandeliers.

Meanwhile, members formally decided to up prices for season skating passes at the new arena–from $40 to $125 for residents; $50 to $156 for non-residents–and to not charge $1 for admission to pools.

According to the Watertown Daily Times, members Teresa Macaluso and Stephen Jennings voiced their opposition to reviving the pool at Thompson Park.

And council set aside $47,000 to help the New York State Zoo at Thompson Park.
