A Watertown native and current head of the Cleveland Clinic has withdrawn his name for consideration for the Secretary of Veteran Affairs position.

Bloomberg reports that Dr. Toby Cosgrove has decided to stay on as CEO and president of the hospital, where he is reportedly focused on some major projects set to take place this year.

Cosgrove, a Vietnam veteran, has already committed to being a member of a select advisory group for President-elect Donald Trump.
