WATERTOWN, NY- Fall’s biggest, most elegant evening is BACK and YOU are in invited!  Station WBVS, Inc. is pleased to host the 2015 Mayor’s Charity Ball, “Under the Harvest Moon,” Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 8pm to 12 midnight at the Dulles State Office Building.  Dance with Fred and The Ed’s, enjoy your favorite beverage from The Paddock Club and feast on a multitude of delicacies from RJ’s catering while supporting education and youth in our community.


Sheila Barney-Pullus, President of the non-profit, WBVS says, “The Mayor’s Charity Ball is about celebrating our community and supporting education and youth.  “They will be our next generation of leadership.  It is a vital investment in the quality of life for the citizens of our community.  We want our children to have at least all the programs and services that are available now, and more.”


This year’s recipients of the proceeds from the Mayor’s Charity Ball are The Resolution Center, Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Camp Wabasso and the Watertown City School District Backpack Program.  The fall event will have a harvest moon theme, with corporate and individual sponsorships available, as well as individual ticket sales.

Station WBVS, Inc. is a non-profit organization named for Sheila Barney-Pullus’ father.  WBVS stands for Wayne Barney’s Vital Signs and Station was a WWII hospital.  Their mission statement is “To enrich the lives of others affected by adverse conditions.” Their vision statement is “Furthering the scope of learning in leadership roles and assisting those adversely affected by current world affairs.”
