ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) – The last scheduled gubernatorial debate before election day is taking place Thursday, Nov. 1 at the College of St. Rose in Albany at 6:00pm.
Republican Marc Molinaro, Libertarian Larry Sharpe, independent Stephanie Miner and Green Party nominee Howie Hawkins all plan to participate, but incumbent Governor Andrew Cuomo is not expected to show up.
That’s according to Cuomo’s campaign, which stated last week he did not plan to appear.
Cuomo participated in a single debate this campaign season, but the debate failed to include any of the third-party candidates, and it focused largely on downstate issues.
Tonight’s debate is sponsored by the League of Women voters.
