ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - An Ulster County man is facing a number of charges after police say he tried to meet up with an 11-year-old girl in Albany for sex.
Jacob Styles, 25, of Kingston, was taken into custody last Friday without incident in Colonie.
He was charged with first-degree attempted rape, first-degree attempted sex act, and possession of marijuana.
He was arraigned and remanded to Albany County Jail for lack of bail.
Styles was arrested following an investigation with the FBI, Colonie Police, and New York State Police.
He is due back in court at a later date.
