NYSP: Man had forged credit cards, credit card skimming device during traffic stop

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York State Police arrested a man they say had forged credit cards and a credit card skimming device during a traffic stop.

Police say they initially stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation.

The driver, Lord Williams, 26, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., is accused of having five forged credit cards, the skimming device, and marijuana in his possession.

He was taken into custody and is charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument, second-degree unlawful possession of a skimmer device, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, and second-degree unlicensed operation. 

Williams was arraigned and remanded to Ulster County Court in lieu of $10,000.
