Teen student hit by car while getting on bus in Oneida County

TOWN OF ANNSVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – State Police ticketed a driver after she had hit a 13 year-old Thursday morning in the Town of Annsville.

An investigation revealed the 13 year-old was walking towards a Camden Central School bus, at the intersection of Glenmore Road and Glen Ridge Drive, when Christy Vongkhamchanh, 39 of Taberg, failed to stop for the bus and hit the student on the passenger’s side of the car.

The teen was hit and taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for evaluation.

Vongkhamchanh was issued tickets for failure to stop for a school bus and speeding.
