A day after their offense scored three points and the defense allowed 47 in a historic loss, the Bills released defensive tackle Adolphus Washington and signed defensive end Nate Orchard on Monday.

Washington was selected in the third round of the 2016 draft.

Of the 28 players selected from 2013-2016, only two remain: defensive Shaq Lawson and guard John Miller.

Heading into the season, the 23-year-old said his “mindset was the best it’s been since entering the NFL.”

Washington had two tackles in the Week 1 loss to the Ravens and played 40 percent of the defensive snaps.
