(WROC) – After missing weeks due to a knee injury he incurred when his shoe broke apart, Duke freshman star Zion Williamson is set to return to the court against the Orange Thursday night.

Williamson is cleared to play Thursday night against Syracuse, according to the team.

Williamson was averaging 21 points per game for Duke before his injury nearly a month ago when Duke played North Carolina. He is projected to be the top overall pick in the NBA Draft this summer.

Wednesday night, Cuse cruised past Pittsburgh in the second round of the ACC Tournament.

This season, Syracuse beat Duke in overtime with Williamson in the lineup in January but lost in February when Williamson missed the game.

Duke vs Syracuse tips off at 9 p.m. on ESPN Thursday night.
