SYRACUSE., N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Syracuse University Men's Basketball team coming together on Sunday at The Oncenter with some of their biggest fans for the 27th annual Ms. Orange Fan Luncheon.
Over the years, the event has raised more than $1M for the Make-A-Wish Central New York Chapter. Proceeds are used to assist children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
The event featured both Jim and Juli Boeheim who have the community to thank for putting this event together.
"We can't do enough for people that support us," said Coach Jim Boeheim at the event. "There's a lot of love in Syracuse, people that come to our events, support our events and come to the games, they're great people and it's fun to be apart of this, there's not a better night in Syracuse than this."
S.U. Basketball players and coaching staff, Otto the Orange, the Sour Sitrus Society, and the S.U. Cheerleaders and Dance Team were also there.
The event included silent and live auctions, and a chance to win diamond jewelry courtesy of Henry Wilson Jewelers.
