Syracuse rolls past Pittsburgh

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – –  For the third straight time Syracuse defeated Pittsburgh, knocking off the Panthers at the Carrier Dome on Saturday 74-63.

Coming off a 32-point game at Duke, Tyus Battle poured in a game-high 22 points helping the Orange to a double-digit win.

Buddy Boeheim came off the bench, chipping in a career-high 13 points on four threes.

SU shot 12-26 (46%) from behind the arc, and 25-54 (46%) for the game.

Syracuse scored 26 points off 17 Pittsburgh turnovers.

SU improves to 13-5 overall (4-1 in the ACC).  It’s the best start in conference play for Syracuse since 2015.

Syracuse returns to action on Thursday when they take on Miami at the Carrier Dome.
